BEGA ONE CAVE
After an exhilarating hike or zipline to this cave, view crystal formations over 5 million years old casting shadows into the black abyss as you experience the most sacred area of the ancient Maya. Highlights of Bega One Cave (“Valley One”) are a replica of a Mayan calendar seen in the cave and an altar used for sacred rituals.
Drive Time from Table Rock: 30 minutes
Adventure Level: Moderate. The hike to the cave requires walking on moderately steep inclines in places, and the cave itself is for those who can navigate a few tight spots and some climbing.
This Adventure is available as a Full Day excursion in combination with Ziplining.
