Now more than ever, we are committed to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety for our guests and staff. Table Rock is proud to be working along with the Belize Ministry of Health and the Belize Tourism Board as part of Belize's Safe Corridor and as a member of the Belize Gold Standard Recognition Program, a certification process for enhanced hotel and restaurant health and safety in response to COVID-19 which has been developed under the guidance of the CDC, WHO, OSHA, and the American Hotel and Lodging Association. We are serious about your health and that of our community and are working diligently to maintain world-class standards. We invite you to review Table Rock's complete protocols for the Gold Standard program here >>
As the entire overnight tourism sector in Belize works toward Gold Standard Certification, those within the Safe Corridor are approved to reopen during Phase 3 of Belize's reopening. Those hotels, tour operators, and restaurants within the Safe Corridor have achieved Belize's 9-point program for enhanced health and safety and have been awarded the Gold Standard Seal of Approval. Belize's Tourism Safe Corridor is only for approved and certified tourism operations that have been trained to operate in this new environment for hosting international travelers. It will also limit interactions between travelers and the local community thereby reducing the possible spread of the virus.
This means that when you visit Table Rock, you will only be using Gold Standard Certified vehicles, drivers, tour guides, and tour sites, and that your stay at our lodge is being hosted in a location and with staff that are also Gold Standard Certified. Your health and safety in these strange new times are our utmost concern--along with making your stay in Belize the most amazing you've experienced.
