Guided Birding
With 587 recorded bird species, Belize is an amazing environment for avian life and has become a hotspot for birders around the world. Keel-billed toucans, Blue Crowned MotMots, and Laughing Falcons are common and abound around Table Rock’s 105 acres. More rare and thrilling to see are Orange Breasted Falcons, Northern Pootoos, and the elusive Lovely Cotinga. Led by some of Belize’s most respected birding guides, you’ll have a choice of birding right on Table Rock’s property or taking an excursion to the ruins of El Pilar for a longer morning of birding.
Drive Time from Table Rock:
- On-Site Birding: 0 minutes
- Birding at El Pilar Ruins: 40 minutes

Sunscreen, insect repellent, and a hat are also recommended. Want to get a head start on your birding? Pick up your own copy of Birds of Belize (Corrie Herring Hooks Series).
