    Zip Lining

    The ultimate in aerial adventure, ziplining is a fast and thrilling way to see the surrounding jungle.  There are three different Zipline locations available depending upon your preference of combination tours.


    Half-Day Zip Lining at Calico Jack’s Village

    The closest zip line location to Table Rock, Calico Jack’s offers two great options for our adventure loving guests:

    • Ultimo Explorer – This 1.5-hour tour is for zip line enthusiasts. It combines over 2,900 feet of zip line comprised of 9 runs and 15 platforms that take you over and through the jungle.
    • CJV Extreme – This 2-hour activity combines the Ultimo Explorer zip line tour—over 2,900 feet of zip line over and through the jungle— with a cable walk over Rock Canyon. You then climb up a rock and subsequently rappel approximately 50 feet and end this tour zip lining back on our 500 foot run in superman style.

    Drive Time from Table Rock: 25 minutes on unpaved roads

    Adventure Level: Moderate. This adventure is pure adrenaline without too much physical effort, although not for those afraid of heights.

    What to Wear & Bring: Comfortable shorts or pants, shirt, and tennis shoes. Don’t forget to bring along extra water, sunscreen, and insect repellent.

    *Restrictions: The recommended age for children is 5 years or older, and the CJV Extreme requires that children be at least 40 inches tall.

    Zip Line at Nohoch Che’en to Combine with Cave Tubing or as a Belize City Transfer Add-On

    Near the Caves Branch River a little more than half-way from Belize City, the zip line at Nohoch Che’en is offered as a combination tour with Cave Tubing or as an added stop on your ground transfer to or from Belize City (you must arrive in Belize no later than 1:30 PM or depart Table Rock at least 4 hours prior to an international flight check-in). First, you will be briefed by the tour guide on the safety procedures. You will then be hooked up on a harness, fitted with a helmet and then attached to a cable system. From a platform up in the jungle, the ride of your life begins! You will whisk through the rainforest like a bird with nothing below you but green vegetation on over 2,700 feet of zip line and 7 runs that will take nearly an hour to complete.

    Adventure Level: Moderate. This adventure is pure adrenaline without too much physical effort, although not for those afraid of heights.

    What to Wear & Bring: Comfortable shorts or pants, shirt, and tennis shoes. Don’t forget to bring along extra water, sunscreen, and insect repellent.

    *Restrictions: Recommended for children 5 years and older.

    Duration: 1 to 1.5 hours

    Combinations: Available only when combined with Cave Tubing or ground transfer to or from Belize City.


    Tikal Zip Line

    Available as a combination with our Tikal excursion, this zip line is in the park reserve and is able to be experienced at the end of your Tikal ruins tour. This zip line covers a distance of 1.3 kilometers, or a little less than a mile. The Tikal Canopy Tour consists of a total of 10 platforms connecting 9 zip lines of 75, 100, 150, and 200 meters long at an altitude of 25 to 30 meters above the forest floor.
